“I was only thinking how amazing it is that something like this was made! Oh, that’s right—I was just curious, but are you sure you don’t know anything about this person at all, Kotetsu-kun? Not even his name?”
Kotetsu pauses for a moment. His expression is hidden behind his mask, but he seems hesitant. “...I told you, I don’t really know about him. But you said you saw him in a dream, right? So, maybe it could happen again!”
“Oh! You’re right. Maybe it will.”
When Tanjirou turns back to look at that battered face again, he sincerely hopes with all his heart that he might see it alive once more.
