Sirius ignored the latter half of the boy’s complaint. “Isn’t there some part of you, then, that thinks that the wizarding public does deserve financial reparation?” he asked, leaning forward over the table and raising his eyebrows candidly, like Draco could tell him anything.
“No, there isn’t,” Draco said, flat and cold. “This is the unhinged vengeance of a Ministry that couldn’t imprison me. I deserve financial reparation for this absurd injustice,” he insisted, taking a smug sip of his tea. Sirius couldn’t help but grin.
“And who exactly is going to give you their money, Draco?” he asked curiously.
Draco sighed, rolling his eyes. “You are, duh.”

Prompt: The Malfoys lose their inheritance after the war, and Sirius finds himself looking after Draco financially. Draco spends Sirius’ money as if it’s his own (they’re both Blacks after all). To Sirius’ horror, he derives pleasure from Draco draining his gold, and even gets off to the younger boy’s financial dominance over him.
