Summary
Several months after the events of Spider-Man: Homecoming, a car accident leaves May Parker dead. Peter, with nowhere else to go, ends up at Tony Stark’s penthouse. He only meant for it to be temporary, but Tony and Pepper offer him a place to stay. Permanently.
Down Came The Rain follows Peter in the aftermath of his aunt’s death. A more realistic take on the classic trope, where Peter’s grief for his last surviving family member continuously outweighs his happiness of being taken in by his childhood hero. Healing takes time, and it will take more than having a place to call home for him to recover.
