Summary
A man named Cas wakes up in 2003 with no memories, but he's able to piece together a few things:
Supernatural creatures exist, and most of them will hurt innocent civilians if he doesn't stop them; he has abilities that no human hunter should have, but he knows enough about human hunters to keep that to himself, and finally; he keeps running into another hunter named Dean Winchester, who must be as lonely as he is if he's willing to put up with those former facts long enough to help Cas unravel the mystery of who (or what) he really is.
For his part, Dean's still (not) dealing with Sam's departure to Stanford, and figures distracting himself with a bit of mystery and intrigue is as harmless as it gets, right? Right.

Summary
Jack’s grace is gone, and so is Dean—lost to the Michael of the Apocalypse World, and Cas despairs there may be no way to get him back. Not with his limited powers and only Sam and the other hunters to help avert this next apocalypse.
Cas can think of only one being who might be powerful enough to stop Michael. But to summon him means a trip back in time to recruit none other than himself, from when he believed he could become the new God. And if called into the future, how will “Godstiel” react to what Cas has become and the existence of Jack…and will he agree to eventually going back?
This story reimagines the events from Jack’s birth up through Dean’s possession by Michael with one major change: What if Dean had expressed his true feelings as soon as Cas returned from the Empty? Dean “Cowboy Chaser” Winchester is a storm chaser known for having the best footage of the tornadoes that descend upon Tornado Alley, in the heart of the Midwest, every spring. He's built a tank--The Imp--from a 1967 Chevy to ride into the storms. His brother is normally his chase partner, but Sam is on bed rest and Dean needs help. He can’t survive and make a profit on his own. Things aren’t looking well until an injured man stumbles into the laundromat.
After some stitches, sandwiches, and stain remover, Dean offers to hire Castiel as his assistant for the storm season. It’s more than he’ll ever make at the gas station. Castiel just has to worry about runaway livestock, dangerous storms, and the nightmares he still can’t escape from the worst day of his life.
Will Castiel take this incredible offer? If he does, will they be able to work together and survive what Mother Nature can throw at them?
