Everything faded to black, leaving them dead with their shame and guilt, knowing they were monsters.

For a moment, nothing.
No sound, no light, no breathing. The only feeling was cold, dark nothingness like the kind you feel when you keep your eyes closed for too long. It's fucking suffocating.
And then, bam.
In the blink of an eye, Andre's back.
He blinked, his head snapping forward as he felt like his brain was shot with a bullet. He sensed the cool sun on his tan skin, the faint warmth of the sun falling on his shoulders.
He stood outside. Outside their high school.
June 23, 2000.

– On Hiatus! Being Rewritten! –
Marinette is not supposed to be his holder. Plagg was painfully aware of this. He was aware when he saw the child create clothes and creatures and patterns. He was aware when he saw Marinette's luck manifest itself in Nathaniel's friendship and the Guardian Tome.
Plagg was supportive of his holder. He was, truly. He cheered for her successes, mourned for her failures, and encouraged Marinette into becoming the best she could possibly be.
But the Tome made Plagg afraid. He flickered more often, tense and on edge. What did the Guardians say about him? Did they call him a beast, a creature of pure evil, a Demon? A force of nature that had no potential to be good or pure, leading to nothing but corruption, destruction, and death. Who knows how much the Guardians added to the story? How much got embellished or twisted?
Still, Plagg watched as Marinette slowly translated the Tome, black mist flickering.

What will happen when UN forces them to keep going out on the town and learn to get along with each other?
(im a perfectionist so most of it will be as "historically accurate" as I can make it. but also please keep in mind that this is fiction and some things are just for plot, and also absolutely does not represent my actual feelings towards the countries or what they stand for. this is just a stupid fanfic lol.)
