Summary
I am a firm believer that Kevin and Neil did not have a platonic friendship throughout college. I think that Neil is a moon that orbits Andrew, for sure, but did you know that moons can have their own mini moon? I want to create a world where Kevin can lean on people, and not just because I learned to play the Bill Withers song on clarinet, but because I love the theme. There is truly nothing more beautiful than finding a person who isn't bowled over by you leaning against them for support.

Like everyone else Dean has always looked forward to his 21st birthday, when his countdown timer would appear and tell him how much longer he had until he met his soul mate. And at least then he would know whether or not he was an alpha like John always wanted, even though the name of his soul mate was written in a weird language he couldn't read.
But then it actually happened, and Dean was positive he actually met his soul mate... unless that was a dream. On the other hand, as the years go by and his countdown ticks away, the increased strength and vision, lack of a need for food or sleep, and weird new growths on his back that seem to be growing feathers(?!) suggest otherwise...

When Gabe's cousin comes to live with him while starting grad school at Sam's university, Dean thinks for sure that all his negative karma's coming to bite him in the ass because Cas clearly has a thing for Sam. No one would ever choose him over Sam. That's just logic.
