Summary
Every thirty to fifty years, a new generation of Light Guardians awaken. They are five people whose incredible powers are awakened when the first of three Abysmal Monsters rises from the shadows. Once the third has been defeated, they disappear and leave behind only stories and legends of their might and bravery.
This generation so far has seen only two: Sparkplug and Heavyweight, who don't seem to get along once the monster is slain. And when a third Light Guardian appears with a shadowy figure by her side to fight an incredibly strong Sadness, no one is sure what to think -- but everyone is sure going wild with speculations and theories. Has something happened to the Light Guardians? Why aren't they acting like a team? Why haven't the last two revealed themselves? Who is that shadowy figure?
And why did this have to happen right before midterms?

Summary
Three years have passed since the King was defeated and Vaugarde was saved. Mirabelle spent those years helping around the country, but she’s been putting off her pilgrimage long enough.
The reason for her pilgrimage is a little... unorthodox, however. She's looking for someone, and all she has is a vague description, the name of a Mwudu university, bare strokes of a plan, and the mirror picture she's kept in her pocket since finding it on Siffrin's bed in the infirmary. No one knows where they disappeared to after he collapsed right after the battle with the King, but if Mirabelle's right, if she finds Siffrin in Mwudu, then...
She's... not sure. She wants answers. She knows that much, but the answers turn out to be more complicated than she'd thought to imagine.
A housemaiden should know how to let go, but sometimes it's important to know when to hold on tight.

Summary
Siffrin has craved blood for as long as they can remember. After so many years of wandering, he's come to Vaugarde in hope of finding answers, just as the King's Curse begins freezing the country in time. He's quickly losing hope, but when they come across a small group determined to save Vaugarde from the King, Siffrin decides to join them. They can't get the answers they want if the country gets frozen in time, after all. They'd never traveled with other people before. Siffrin doesn't expect to grow attached to any of them, but as time goes on, the thought of leaving them hurts more and more. Worse yet, they refuse to even entertain the thought of one of them discovering what he is and what he's done. They just know that if they find out, they'll hate them.

Being a freshly-resigned superhero is hard enough, especially when your whole life has been geared towards becoming a superhero. Of course, Isabeau had to go and make it worse for himself. Now he’s balancing part-time vigilantism, having a full-time nemesis, hiding his identity from his roommates and, most importantly, finding a job.
(aka, isabeau tries his best, siffrin tries to kill him poorly sometimes, mirabelle tries to keep everything under control, and the internet does its thing)

Summary
Isabeau once joked that if he ever needed to get away with murder, he would make sure to ask Odile for help.
She didn’t mind the joke, in fact she tried to play into it. She was more ruthless than the others, scarier, and it was for the best to keep that comparison humorous. To limit her terrifying side to chilly glares and threats of spicy food. It stopped the others from dwelling on it long enough to ask questions, which in turn helped her keep certain things buried in the past.
Then Siffrin knocked on her door in the middle of the night and asked her for just such assistance. Suddenly it wasn’t a joke anymore.

Just tell them how you feel.” This seems like the best of both worlds — keeping his found family without subjecting himself to time loop torture. But the problems they faced before don’t just disappear, and sometimes a fella has to make their own mistakes.

Trapped in a time loop and without any safe options for satiating the hunger they feel, Siffrin is in a downward spiral. The only place he can seem to get a break from the tempting heartbeats of his party is the Favor Tree. Loop isn’t human, and their lack of a heart or blood to speak of makes them a respite alongside being the only one who remembers the loops. But as Siffrin’s senses grow stronger and their hunger becomes starvation, they start to hear a faint beat in Loop’s chest.
