Summary
The mildest of scandals could destroy the reputation of an omega in a very short time. Dean learns it personally when rumors about him and his friend Benny start circulating in his community. The best option to correct the situation is to arrange a marriage for Dean as soon as possible. Castiel has recently inherited the title and fortune as Lord Novak after the death of his father. With his new role in society, his mother strongly believes Castiel needs a mate.
Having both Dean and Castiel agree to the union and arranging the mating is the easy part. They have mutual attraction and their values seem to be well-matched. However, it turns out navigating a relationship is difficult when neither party is sure whether the other has been forced into it.
Lack of communication, fear of rejection, and jealousy surely aren't going to make the situation any easier.

Dean's day began with feeding the animals. How he got stuck with this chore when Cas was the one responsible for the menagerie under their roof, he didn't… Okay, yeah, he did know. Cas was not a morning person.
The number and varieties of animals changed periodically as Cas found other homes for his strays or (more often) brought home a new one. They currently had two dogs, three cats, a rabbit, and a gecko. Oh, and there was the unicorn, of course.
