Martin clings to Jon as they fall, clings to his bleeding lover as the roaring of the void and the screeching of the tapes drowns out any words either of them have. He clings to Jon and prays to whatever gods may exist that everything will end up alright.
Then he collapses onto cold linoleum, stumbling into a harsh metal filing cabinet.
