Summary
Harry loves being a wizard, but he never developed any patriotic feelings for wizard society, having grown up muggle, nor a love of British wizards, having faced alternating dehumanising adulation and vilification for three years with nothing real in between. When his name comes out of the Goblet of Fire, he has the support of Remus and Sirius, and they can't get out of Britain quick enough.
Harry graduates from Ilvermorny, agrees with Hermione on a slow plan to take back Britain from Voldemort without any great battles, hoping to minimise the loss of life on their side that the civil war in the 1970s saw, and with the goal of eradicating the status quo.
They get their masteries and enlist a small group of similar minds to start a school for the muggleborns that are no longer accepted at Hogwarts. They live in hiding and try to protect the muggles from the Death Eaters in small skirmishes.Bookmarked by abhayakara

Someone’s decided to do the resistance right. The initial stations of the canon bit is presented in a fun and readable way, but the point seems to be to get us to The Resistance in a believable way, which I believe the author has achieved.

Summary
What if Harry had taken a look at the dragon in the Tournament and realised he wasn't facing a challenge but a monster? And instead of being a hero had noped out; and ended up with a whole other kind of adventure? One with Merlin, and magic, and more friends, and solving problems with his brain. Oh, and Ron doesn't mysteriously lose his strategic abilities, Malfoy gets seriously into philosophy, and Neville has a bigger part to play.
