Summary
This story takes place years after Khan, formerly known as Harold Erickson, was defeated by the crew of the Enterprise. Everyone who was on the bridge that fateful day is older now… and wiser too—or at least Admiral Kirk would like to believe that’s the case. It’s been years since they served together, but as fate would have it: Admiral Kirk, Captain Spock, and Dr. McCoy are back together again on the Enterprise to assist with what should have been a straightforward training mission.
What follows is a story about grief and what grief can drive a man to do. It is also a story about the innate human curiosity which compels us to engage in the act of creation—creating something out of nothing, life from lifelessness—no matter the cost. It’s about crossing a boundary that was never meant to be crossed, and the hubris of playing God—even when our actions are borne out of love and the best of intentions.
This is a direct sequel to my earlier story, Running Out of Steam, which is a Stephen King AU reimagining of the TOS episode Space Seed. I recommend reading that one first unless you enjoy being really, really confused…in which case, who am I to yuck your yum, I guess. I’m not the boss of you.

Summary
In the Prime and Mirror universes, Spock risks life and limb to rescue his captain, who is being held captive deep underground. These two versions of Spock go on parallel journeys, never intersecting, but each in their own way demonstrating the love between Kirk and Spock as a universal constant that transcends the many points of divergence between their respective realities.
Please note that the Mirror Universe version of this story contains graphic depictions of violence and powerplay which may be disturbing to some readers. If this is not your cup of tea, you can skip the first three chapters and go straight to the Prime Universe version, which is far fluffier and tamer.
Written for the Spirk in a Cave event and gifted to jelliedlimes because this was originally inspired by their prompt about “hiding injuries in the mirror universe” aka “a horse that doesn’t want to be put down.”
It started there, but then I wrote the same story in the prime universe and paired them together because I’m extra like that.

Summary
In the Immunity Syndrome, Spock telepathically experienced the collective shock and terror of 400 Vulcans as they died. And yet, in the Kelvin Timeline, Spock experienced no telepathic backlash whatsoever when 6 billion Vulcans were wiped out of existence along with their home planet. This story, set in the TOS universe, reimagines the destruction of Vulcan and the far-reaching repercussions this kind of loss might have.

The Wrath of Harold: Star Trek/Stephen King AU by Zelda_Bird
Fandom: Star Trek, Star Trek: The Original Series
26 Sep 2025
Summary
This is a collection of Star Trek stories in which the antagonists are written in the style of Stephen King. The Star Trek characters and the universe itself are otherwise canonical.
Now you might be asking, “why Harold”? In the original script for Space Seed, the character we came to know as Khan Noonian-Singh was instead a Nordic man named “Harold Erickson.”
This fact, along with Stephen King’s prodigious oeuvre, inspired this alternate universe in which Kirk, Spock, Bones, and the rest of the Enterprise crew face off against shining vampires, a telepath named Harold, a traumatized telekinetic prom queen, and other unimaginable horrors.
The first story takes the place of the TOS episode Space Seed. The sequel includes The Wrath of Khan and The Search for Spock.

Summary
An unconsummated bond, a self-sacrificing Vulcan first officer, and an all-action captain combine for a thrilling romantic adventure. Fraught with danger from within and without, Kirk and Spock navigate the ebb and flow of a new bond, the end of Enterprise's five-year mission, and the new life they hope to forge together as they grope for common ground.

Bookmarker's Notes
This is the one where Spock has to bond with Kirk to save his mind from being conquered and taken over by alien bad guys. Spock stoically tries to stay away from Kirk so they have a better chance of being able to break the bond when they arrive at Vulcan.
Of course, Spock would not have survived until Vulcan, and when Jim sees what kind of shape he’s in, he takes charge by barging his way into Spock's quarters and his heart forever.
Also, Jim’s mom rescues horses and is raising Peter plus an orphan named Matt. Jim’s mom is cool with the bonding even though it means no grandchildren. Sarek is cool with it too. Amanda is not. She didn’t poison Jim though. Someone else did that.

Summary
After the events of "Amok Time", Spock grapples with the shame of having nearly killed the Captain, even as he feels more drawn to him than ever. Meanwhile, Jim's mostly-dormant attraction to his first officer reignites. Their emotions come to a head as the Enterprise encounters a mysterious message that leads them on a manhunt through deep space.
This is largely canon-compliant with TOS, and has a few elements which are pulled from the second season of Discovery and the first season of SNW, but you do not need to have seen these series to understand the story.

Bookmarker's Notes
Kirk and Spock are trying to figure their shit out post amok time when they get pulled into some mirror universe bullshit. Spock gets stabbed in the lung and shot with a phaser when all he wanted was Spirk sex.
Some SNW/discovery references in Spock’s pov but not too many.

Summary
Every K/S writer is bound to eventually write a story about an accidental marriage and/or telepathic bond. Mine happened to be the first one I wrote. Written and published in 2001; revised 2003.

Bookmarker's Notes
Spirk are bonded VERY accidentally while messing around in the gym. They only realize this after Spock attempts to wake a crewmember in a coma with a mind meld and collapses.
Spock breaks the bond with Kirk as soon as he realizes what happened, only to be plagued by the effect of the broken bond, excruciatingly painful spells that come out of nowhere.
Kirk has to convince him to accept the bond. McCoy is confused.

Summary
In the Classic episode "Immunity Syndrome," Spock felt the death of 400 Vulcans on a nearby ship so strongly that McCoy had to escort him off of the bridge. When the Narada destroyed Vulcan, billions died. There have to be long-term, serious consequences to that for the surviving Vulcans, and especially for Spock, who shipped off with the Enterprise almost right away. It just might take a while to show.

Bookmarker's Notes
The one where AOS Spock goes through pon farr but it’s even more traumatic bc of telepathic side effects from the destruction of Vulcan. Many misunderstandings ensue bc of Spock’s low self esteem and Jim’s sexual trauma from tarsus. The elevator scene is the best.
Ambiguous/open ending

Bookmarker's Notes
Spock and Jim have to bond for the sake of a mission in which they’re both seriously injured. The bond is still settling and the boys are still healing when the enterprise gets called for another mission. Spock relapses bc he was pushing himself and then has to push himself further to save Jim from being in the “sleeping beauty” coma indefinitely.
