And, well, Bernard might be a self-respecting Gothamite who kept his nose out of other people's business, but he happened to like the club that seemed to be the epicenter and queer people already had it hard enough in Gotham and everywhere else without this killer adding to their struggles.

Kon just wanted to go for a walk, bored and with nothing to do cooped up at the Tower. He just wanted to go outside, stretch his legs for a while, and then come back and have some nice, warm dinner and watch a movie or something.
If Batman got on his back about using guest clearances to bring a random kid into the Tower, he was going to take pointers from his demigod boyfriend and ignore or out-stubborn the man. If he could (occasionally, not all the time, he was only a mere mortal, after all) out-stubborn his vigilante boyfriend, then he could get out of dealing with the Bat on this one. Hopefully.

Bernard wanted to tell Kon about the aftereffects of his powers on his own terms. Those who witnessed his recovery after escaping Python knew through unavoidability and necessity, not through any choice of his own. He was literally in the middle of trying to tell Tim when a vision took over. He wanted Kon to know, and he wanted to tell him himself.

Bernard's never been a year-rounder at Camp Half-Blood, but he has been visiting at least a couple times a year outside of summer ever since he hit high school. After Kronos and Gaea, too, stopping by every once in a while was sometimes the only way to calm his nerves and make sure his friends and family were okay.
But now that he didn't have to hide being a demigod? You bet he was taking advantage of not only living so close, but also all the time he was spending in New York, to visit and spend time with his siblings. It was good to see them, and he was even able to build more of a relationship with his new Gothamite baby sister than if he only saw her over summer.

Bernard's first time visiting the Justice League's home base up in space, he’s there because Wonder Woman needs him to take a look at one of her cases and let her know if he recognizes any demigodly or other greek activity. He's not really expecting to run into anyone up there, it's pretty late at night and they're being careful of his identity so as not to connect him to any other heroes or vigilantes and give away their identities.
But gods don't really care for the concept of reasonable times to stage meetings, and tend to go where they want. At least, because it's so late, the god in question shouldn't be able to make too much of a scene. Hopefully.

So when a friend reaches out to see if he wants to hang out, he's not going to turn down the company. And hey, he's only met her a couple times so far, but he likes his new Gothamite baby sister, so he's not opposed to seeing her, either.

The events with the snake now several weeks in the past, Bernard's been spending most of his time with his boyfriend, hanging out with him and his friends, and training with Tim. None of the Bats know anything about the whole ordeal past what Robin was present for, and his boyfriend's conveniently kept him away from both Waynes and Bats until now. But when the man who is basically Tim's grandfather invites them both to family dinner in order to see the demigod's recovered health for himself, they're thrown directly into the line of everyone's curiosity.
Bernard's not worried about it at all, but Tim is anxious about them finding out Bernard knows about the vigilantes or Bruce being too invasive with his questions. God knows their family dinners are always disasters.

Tim Drake hasn't seen his boyfriend since he disappeared into thin air at the zoo. Red Robin hasn't seen Gotham's resident son of Apollo since his team rescued him from the serpent, Python, and Wonder Girl brought him back to Camp Half-Blood. He knows Bernard's alive and recovering, but he can't help but worry and expect the worst.
Bernard just wants to get through one night without the painful visions plaguing him, please and thank you. He wants to get them under control and go back home. Maybe take a nice nap - that hopefully won't end in him waking up screaming - with his boyfriend.
His boyfriend. Yeah. They're also going to need to have a talk.
