Summary
You've heard this story a million times over, and it is always the same. There's a woman. She somehow wakes up in Middle-Earth, boys like her, everyone wants to kill her, things get dicey. But she's got the entire story in her head, she knows everything that is about to happen, and she has no intention of allowing things to happen the way they're "supposed" to.
Now throw in the fact that she can't speak a lick of Common, because it isn't English despite what others might think, and she does things that should be impossible and moves like she was made for battle. Throw in some time travel, plots that stretch back thousands of years, ample sass, somewhat meddling Gods, and what we have is (hopefully) a different tale to the one that you're used to it.
The premiss of the story might be the same, but shake enough trees and stamp on enough butterflies and things aren't going to end up the same way as one would expect them to.

Sadly probably abandoned but absolutely worth the read! The author definitely was in the Doctor who fandom at one point and has brilliantly decided to bring the timejumper trope over to Middle Earth

World building galore!
The relationships make sense! Ariana does not simply forgive people for the things they do to her. And always always her priority is her sister.
The fic is a slow build from cannon into it’s own au. But even while re tracing the path of the show the author manages to approach it from a different angles and all the little differences build up and have consequences.
