Quackity huffs out a laugh, eyebrows raising in amusement. “Is that so?”
A sly, teasing smile pulls across Wilbur’s lips as he makes a spectacle of standing up straight, placing one hand behind his back as he brings up the other to delicately draw an X over his heart.
“Cross my heart and hope to die.”
Quackity watches as Wilbur’s hand falls lightly against his chest, eyes locked on the digits as they rise and fall with every calm, gentle breath the man takes. Unbeknownst to his sharp gaze however are the pair of crossed fingers pressed firmly against the small of Wilbur’s back.///
