It’s midday on a Saturday and Peter is fighting zombies.
Well, not literal zombies but some sort of rogue lab experiment that resembles the monsters enough to earn them the nickname, despite Cap’s insistence over the comms that they, under no circumstances, call them that. Something about risking the press getting the wrong idea or something equally mind numbing. Either way, Peter’s calling them zombies and he’s got the majority of the team, including Tony who normally shuts down his antics, calling them zombies and that’s all that matters at the end of the day. So…there.
Or: Peter gets distracted mid battle and has to justify to Tony the fact that he got caught off guard by a guitar solo

If Bobby had to guess, tonight’s argument is because Dean has done something dumb like hide Sam’s toothbrush, just for the reaction factor, and Sam’s blowing up over it because the poor kid’s already unsettled enough after being dumped by his father.
He quickens his pace as things seem to escalate further with the shouts getting louder.
He mutters a curse under his breath as he jogs over to the spare bedroom door, a bedroom that has the boys’ names carved into the door because it’s theirs for as long as they want it. His hand is resting on the door handle, ready to swing it open when he finally realises that the shouts are only really coming from one person with brief, quieter interjections from the other.
His eyes widen as he identifies the source of the aggression.
Bobby’s not sure he’s ever heard Dean this angry. Not towards anyone. Definitely never towards Sam.

“Morgan,” he croaked, throat afire, and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. “Hey – hey, it’s okay, I’m just…”
“You’re sick.” She mustered up something like bravery, using it to straighten her back and plaster a very grown-up look on her face. “I’ll get Daddy!”
“No!” Morgan jumped, eyes wide. Peter fought to calm his voice. He offered her a smile that couldn’t have been convincing, not even to a five year old. “No, you don’t have to. I feel better now. You don’t have to tell him.”
Morgan’s lips wobbled. Peter knew what her fake pout looked like well enough to know this wasn’t it. “Petey…”
Peter had a lot of reasons to feel guilty. He felt guilty for scaring her. He felt guilty for forgetting to lock his bedroom door, for making scaring her a possibility. He kind of, in a way, felt guilty for doing it in the first place, though not nearly enough to stop.
But more than anything, he felt guilty for this: “Morgan, promise me you won’t tell him. He…he won’t let us swim anymore if you do. And I’m not sick, my tummy just hurt a little bit, but I’m all better now. Promise me you won’t tell him, okay?”
“But…”
“Morgan. Promise.”

There are rough hands tugging at his hair, pulling it from the root as he’s heaved out of the water. Tony tumbles limply, hitting the ground with a sickening crack. He can hear their jostling laughter from their little semi-circle around his numb form, nudging uncoordinated limbs painfully.
“Had enough, Stark?” Hans Grubber (Look, he had to call the big boss something, and he convinced Peter to watch the first Die Hard with him last month, so it’s the only thing still fresh in his mind at the moment) chuckles, kicking him in the stomach. Tony gasps, air punched from his abused lungs, but doesn’t have any time to recover before he’s being harshly lifted again and dunked back into the ice-water.

Or: Tony is kidnapped for the nth time in the last fifteen years. There's one big difference, however, and it's that the kidnappers don't care about him all that much. It's Spider-Man that they are after.
