Here’s what Dean’s gonna do:
One of the nights they’re at the beach, he’ll ask Cas to take a walk with him. They’ll walk on the sand while the sun sets over the water, turning the ocean pink and orange, and Dean will hold Cas’ hand. Cas will stop walking and tilt his head in confusion, and Dean will tell him. He’ll tell him, and they’ll have their first kiss on the beach, water lapping around their ankles and their toes in the sand.

Summary
“You’re staying?” he asks.
“Do you want me to?” Cas says, and Dean drops his face into the place between Cas’ neck and shoulder, wraps his arms firm around Cas’ chest.
“You’re staying,” he declares, and Cas puts his arms around Dean’s back. For a moment, Cas holds him, as Dean attempts to physically hold Cas down. He can’t leave if Dean’s all over him.

And they're gonna get married...At least, Sam and Sarah are. Dean and Cas are just pretending so that Sam's in-laws will cut him some slack. That's what Dean keeps telling himself anyway, as the lines between real and pretend start to blur, and he and Cas become closer and closer in the lead up to the big day

He won’t be heard now. He knows that. He gets on his knees anyway.
“Cas, I know you can’t hear me—”

“C’mon, man.” He says, pained. “I know you’ve been goin’ through something. And I’ve been tryin’ to give you space. But you can’t let yourself rot away in there, Cas.”
To them, ‘going through something’ is almost dying, or literally the end of the world. Castiel’s world is not ending. It just feels like it is.
So he doesn’t say anything.
