Astarion’s breath caught, eyes darting to the wriggling appendage before his usual smirk slid into place.

Gale had thrown the end of the rope up and over the canopy beam of the bed frame, and pulled. Astarion's wrists were jerked upward, brought to hang above his head as Gale secured the end of the rope to a bedpost. Summary
After the fall of the Netherbrain, Tav's home in Baldur's Gate was destroyed and Gale offers his tower as a temporary place for her to rest and heal. A very slow-burn romance starts to bloom, while Tav (named Iluviel) struggles to be ready after the things Astarion did to her.

Lots of D&D lore and (mostly canonical) Waterdeep worldbuilding went into this fic that follows both Gale and Iluviel through their daily lives inside and outside of the wizard's tower.
