    “Listen up, Topknot, this is actually important,” Shidou said grimly, leaning in closer to Reo’s ear. “I’m not supposed to tell anyone before the actual day, but who knows what you’d do for that lazy beanpole.”

    “Hah? What are you talking about?” Reo exclaimed defensively, trying to pull away from the strawberry blond but failing as Shidou snuck his other arm around Reo’s back and tightened his grip, cutting him off.

    “Let me finish at least, Little Heir,” Shidou crooned mockingly before quieting down again, “It’s about that player thing Four Eyes mentioned.”

    Reo stopped struggling, going limp in Shidou’s arms at his words. “The what?”

    This time Reo is the one to make a decision that separates him and Nagi again, but maybe this time, it'll all be fine. At least they communicated this time right?
