Title says it all. One of my fraternity brothers who I’m super close with started his rut out of nowhere and his pheromones are bothering everyone in the house, except for me. “You should probably be more careful about jumping into random vehicles, then,” Suguru warns, irritated when the freeloader in his backseat only smiles more sharply. What a waste of a night—no sleep and barely any money to show for it. “You lost me a fare and wasted almost twenty minutes’ worth of gas.”
His unwanted passenger presses a hand over his heart.
“Genuinely, I feel terrible about that.” Then he folds his arms into the space between the front seats and rests his chin atop them. The bridge of his glasses slips halfway down his nose, partially revealing those arrestingly blue eyes again. “Let me make it up to you.”
Suguru spends his nights driving to make a little extra money; the guy he picks up around two a.m. isn’t who or what he expected, and now Suguru has his full and undivided attention.
(Or, Suguru accidentally kidnaps a yakuza boss.)
