Summary

The confession of the Truth doesn't go as well as she had expected.
In fact, everyone seemed to break apart just as bad, if not worse than they had before. How could this have happened? She planned everything out, did the numbers, the whole nine yards!
Something isn't right, Mari didn't work to bring her darling brother out of his isolation for it all to end like this. The rest of the spirits around the graves are howling, screaming out about something or other going wrong on their side of the proverbial Styx, and the shadows seem to be deeper than she remembers.
It's a dark day for Faraway, but not it's darkest. That is yet to come.

AKA: What if the OMORI cast were thrust into situations straight from some of the bloodiest games around, made to be as non-anachronistic and sensible as is feasible.
Not very serious, but will still try to touch on the angst we all know and love from time to time to varying efficacy.

Summary
“Look, all I’m trying to say is that I understand it was an accident,” she replied as softly as she could muster, folding her arms over her chest, before a thought suddenly occurred to her. “I’m… I’m sure Mari would understand that. She’d even forgive you, I’d reckon.”
“She would,” Sunny said wistfully in response. “Doesn’t mean I still don't feel guilty about it.”
“I hear you,” Aubrey whispered, looking away from him and out towards the town below them, recalling what Sunny had said about the accident. “It was just something stupid you did in a rush of emotions. I can relate.” She added on with a bit of a somber tone.
“You didn’t kill anyone.”
“I almost did. If Hero hadn’t been there, both you and Basil would’ve more than likely drowned.”

After Sunny reveals the truth to all of them, Aubrey goes up to the roof to think about it. She's soon joined by Sunny.

Very nice one shot, with a relatively unique interpretation on how Aubrey and the rest react to the truth.
Not much to say as this is very nice, though while the sudden peck on the cheek is appreciated it isn't built up to as much as it probably should.
It's a one shot though, what are you gonna do? NOT have the Sunburn? Hell no, not an option. -

A fantastic one shot, though it only extends the ending so we can see everyone's (except Basil's) reactions. While I think this interpretation goes off a bit smoother than it may in canon, though that's debatable, I can't lie and say I dislike this type of ending, especially with that sneaky Aubrey/Sunny in the tags because I'm a shameless Sunburn addict.
I don't have any real notes other than I'd have liked to see the Basil ending scene play out in this, I may be a lapse Sunflower Bud but I'm a professional lapse Sunflower Bud, and I think Basil needs to be included in more stuff. He's an important part of the cast and shouldn't be excluded.
Overall though, this is a fantastic one shot that aside from the omnipresent "short as hell" tax that I wholly recommend to anyone who understands the concept of thematic consistency in relation to the OMORI ending. -

Summary
Stories that take place in the same continuity as my Omori crackfic 'Sunny gets disowned and becomes a cryptid to avoid confronting his issues'. You don't need to read SGDABACTACHI to understand them, but certain things like Sunny's injuries make more sense if you read it first.
I think with 'How We Sasquatch', I’ve pretty much written all the stories I've wanted to tell with this series, so I feel fairly comfortable ending it off here. Thanks for all the support on this series, it's been a fun ride.

A very funny series of fics, though it did sometimes feel like the humor was shooting itself in the foot whenever it tried to be semi-serious.
It feels weird to go from and extension of the Canon Omori ending to complete insanity, but that's how crack fics be sometimes. The non sasquatch related stories were quite good as well, I especially liked how the majority of the Marriage Sunburn one shot was pretty much completely serious and cute, and the Miitopia one was very nice as well, truly epic despite the Miitopia.exe ghosts spontaneously talking to Sunny.
We all love the supernatural tag.
The Soulmates AU is the best of them, in my opinion, but that got its own entry aside from this collection, so no extra points by virtue of it already being graded.
Obviously this is a grab bag of a bunch of random stuff, so be aware of that when reading, these aren't all related. -

Good, kinda short, not much to really say other than I think the conflict is sorted out kinda quickly, Mari is somewhat uncharacteristically stubborn, and the emotional moments aren't given the proper time to breathe.
Still, pretty decent. -

Really good! I love the set up, and how the story deviates from canon due to it.
The only real problem I have is that it's simply too short. I would love to have seen a full series based on this premise, probably set during the 4 years this takes place over, where we can see more of how their relationship deteriorates, as well as more characters, like Kel, Hero, Basil, and possibly the Hooligans as well. Then we can get the post-time-period-this -fic-is-set-in comfort and Sunburn!
It won't happen, but maybe a full-fledged fic like this one will appear at some point on my radar and I'll be very happy.
