The hand gripping his arm didn’t let go. And with a grimace, Rainier attempted to pull away. But he froze as the alpha’s gaze swept over his body, a bolt of fear shooting down his spine, raising the hairs along his neck. Those intense eyes held him captive, and his heart raced even faster.
"Don't trouble yourself, accidents happen," the alpha said, voice deep and sensual, pulling Rainier closer to lean in and inhale his scent. "You smell like the forest after the rain. Quite an interesting scent for a beta."

Rainier's top priority is keeping his family safe, which means hiding his ability to shift. A rare gift among betas, and highly coveted. Summary
