Summary
Angel hasn't had a serious relationship in six years, being a single parent to a six year old may have something to do with that. His flings are quick, one and done, and he's happy with that.
But... This last guy was less of a one and done. More of one, then another, and a couple more. He'll break it off before things get too serious.
But what if he doesn't have to?

A five + one of Angel's little family getting a little bigger, and the ups and downs of learning to trust again.

Summary
Omega auctions were honestly one of the worst things about Hell. Sin was expected, sex and violence sure, but Husk had learned everything he needed to know about buying and selling people when he was on Earth. There were some things you just didn’t do, even when among the lowest of the low.
Apparently, that didn’t matter when sex was on the line

As a result of moving to this half-way home/rehab center/ possible money laundering scheme of a place, it a few lessons stuck in Anthony's head despite his best attempts to blow off Charlie's constant lessons.
One of which being... well, maybe he should talk to Husk before he starts thinking of creative ways to get him to stop asking his least favorite question.
What the fuck is an 'I' statement?

Angel's been alive (Well, Around?) long enough to know a thing or two.
But has he ever known who he is?
Things may be miserable, but what is he if not a creature of habit?

During a routine outing as Val's side piece, Angel (supposedly. He didn't see it that way) flirted with the wrong man. Valentino pulled a gun, and Angel grabbed it, like the fool he is. Now, he's left reflecting on his life and death, remembering times he spent a lot of money to forget. What's changed?

Summary
When Angel wakes up in a silent room as collateral for one of Valentino's debts, he expects more of the same pain and exploitation that he's used to. But Husk surprises him with an infuriating, confusing indifference. For the first time, Angel experiences a reprieve from the cycle of cruelty, and it leaves him yearning for something he can’t quite define. Desperate for anything he's used to and drawn to Husk's confusing treatment, Angel wrestles with conflicting emotions while he waits to be released.

Such a sad fic that beautifully represents the characters. The tone and voice are so wonderfully wrapped together in such a deep story.
Another amazing, transformative piece by an amazing person.

Summary
Stolas's entire life has been planned and dictated down to the minute details by his father. Go to college. Get married—not just to anyone, heaven's no, someone classy, someone of old money. Someone Stolas can never love, no matter how hard he tries. Work for his father's corporate empire. Have a child. It's utter, torturous monotony.
That is, until a chance encounter with a blast from the past throws the doors to his gilded cage wide open.
Enter Blitzø Buckzo. He's a rancher with a dream that doesn't take no for a fucking answer. He's built his ranch with blood, sweat, and tears, and like hell is he gonna let anyone take it from him, stacking bills and pressure from Wrathful Agricultural Incorporated included. Finding Stolas stranded in the middle of a blizzard isn't part of his plans, but he's good at rolling with the punches. Unless those punches involve shit like feelings, anyway.
They're from two different worlds, and they shouldn't be drawn to each other. But like the moon and the earth, they can't help but swing into each others' orbit anyway.
Or, the ranch AU you never asked for.

Such an amazing work, on the edge of my seat waiting for the next chapter, every word has my complete attention and the story is so captivating as a whole. I can't wait to see what else comes from this author's brilliant mind. An amazing person who cares so much about every single thing they write.

Summary
“Fuck rules.” Angel comes to a stumbling stop, jabbing a stiff fingertip into Husk’s chest. Husk swipes his hand away, scowling. Spurred on, Angel continues: “This is Hell. Rules died the minute we did, honey, and you’re too old to act like a martyr.”
Sinners don’t get pregnant in hell—not ever. But Lucifer seems oddly convinced that Angel Dust is, in fact, very.
Now sheltering both his delicate sense of self and a baby he unwittingly commits to carrying, Angel must decipher this concept of (after)life. Where do you balance the realities of pregnancy in Hell? Forget wanting, how do you perform the job that Angel does, with the contract he has, while deciding whether or not raising a damn kid is something you could even do?
You just do it. You figure it out, and you see it through.

Bookmarker's Notes
There isn't a single fic from this author I haven't latched onto like a dog with a bone. The voice they give the characters is phenomenal, the writing style is so accurate to the source material that it's so easy to visualize the worlds they're creating. The very difference between a writer and an author. I will always be there, refreshing my email looking for the next update, the newest piece, what ever I can get my hands on because this is art and I will hang onto each piece as though it's gold because these works are far more valuable than anything material.
One of my favorite writers and I cannot wait for more

Summary
Angel has spent the last four years living on the Vegas Strip, defending his tumultuous relationship with the powerful producer Valentino and convincing himself it’s as glamorous as it seems. But when a rare chance to escape arises, he seizes it, only to land in a chaotic altercation at the Velvet Spade, a rundown casino far from the Strip’s glittering lights. Now, bound by a contract to repay his debt, Angel has no choice but to work for the Spade’s stoic owner, Husk.
What begins as a desperate attempt to lay low and reclaim his freedom evolves into something far deeper. As Angel forges an unlikely bond with Husk, they work to breathe life back into the struggling casino and, in the process, begin to rebuild their broken selves.
But Valentino isn’t one to let go of what he considers his. As Angel’s past comes closing in, he and Husk must confront their deepest fears, risking everything to protect what they’ve built—and each other. In a city where the odds are always stacked, Angel and Husk discover that the greatest gamble of all is believing in themselves and each other.

Summary
Husk is a down on his luck drunk who’s running out of money and second chances when he lands a job at The Mirage, the last queer speakeasy still standing in 1937 New York City. It’s a decent job and nothing more—until Friday night, when he first catches sight of the club’s star dancer, Angel, and an instant attraction threatens to turn his whole world upside down.
Angel is juggling two lives, a mob boss’s son by day and a cabaret dancer under the thumb of a cruel pimp by night. He loves the crowds, the glamor, the excitement, but he pays a heavy price for all of it, a price nobody but the new bartender seems to see.
Both men have the odds stacked against them, but they can’t help but be drawn to each other. Still, after the cards they’ve been dealt, it’s hard to believe in happy endings. Can coked out whores and washed up drunks like them ever really make it out of the gutter?
A Huskerdust-centric human AU set in 1930s New York.
