And then he bent down and awkwardly, as happens with teenagers and their first kisses, pressed his lips to Kisuke's lips. Just a touch, not as refined as Ichigo-san's when he kissed him earlier this evening, but so pleasant that Kisuke's brain had a short circuit. And then the second, when he felt soft lips on a tender spot behind his ear at the corner of the jaw. He moaned weakly into the kiss.
«The most romantic confession I've ever heard in my life,» Ichigo-san said once he pulled away from Kisuke's neck.

“Is it?”
Ichigo scowls harder. “What the hell else would it be?”
“An opportunity to get a little creative.” Zangetsu rolls his eyes, like what he’s saying is the most obvious thing in the world and Ichigo is an idiot for not seeing it first. “You don’t have to play by human rules.”
Ichigo opens his mouth, ready to argue—

Shirosaki Ichigo was likely Seireitei’s greatest enigma— and that’s saying a lot, considering people don’t go around trying to psyche out each other’s backstories all too often.
