Summary
In a Remnant proverbially "a bit to the left" of normal Remnant, gaining weight is harmless to those with Aura, and can even convey certain advantages to Hunters willing to deal with the decreased stealth and agility.
So formed the Weight Index Designation Exam, or the WIDE (because somebody, it seems, had a sense of humor about the whole thing), designed to help promising young Hunters figure out what weight class would be best for them.
All well and good, although once Jaune gets assigned super-heavyweight, the highest there is, he suddenly isn't so sure.
But with Ren's cooking, and a certain silver-haired handsome guy around, that uncertainty might not last long...
Kink fic, people start Beacon at 18, involves copious fat and muscle gain at unrealistic speeds. Also, Jaune/Mercury is just my guilty pleasure crackship and I wanted there to be more of it.

Desmond needed a job after Bad Weather was closed down for illegal gambling on centaur races.
Yes.
It was as dumb as it sounded.
So now, here he was, applying for an in-house support (whatever that means) for an unknown training center with a centaur that, apparently, needed some assistance after an injury he sustained last year.
He guessed his blood would lead him back to the centaur racing scene sooner or later.
At the very least, in-house support meant he was supposed to fade into the background.
