Summary
Daphne’s opinion on miracles was never rather strong, but at the moment ‘miracle’ was the only word that came to mind at the delay in her courses. While her mother had not disclosed much of the marriage bed, she had told her distressed young daughter who’d woken up to find herself bleeding at 14 the significance of the occurrence. Miracle, could she dare hope? Could it be true or just another of her dreams dangled close and then seemingly ripped away?
In short, this is my take on the thought we all had regarding how inefficient is the pull-out method.

Still, she plasters another dimpled smile on her face and sips her wine, wondering how anyone in King’s Landing could think she would choose to submit to her fate. She’s a Lady, yes, but she is still a Stark.

Three years later, he's attending ESU, trying to work three jobs alongside getting two degrees, and still going out as Spider-Man. He's fine, really. Everything is just fine. That is until a run-in with the law and a DNA test shatter the carefully constructed facade that Peter had made his life.

“Your blood matches a sample the FBI has on file from a kidnapping case.” Agent Carisi opens the thicker file. “A four-year-old boy taken while on vacation with his father about twenty years ago.”
Peter’s breathing speeds up.
“Authorities took fingerprint and DNA samples from the boy’s room, and at the father’s behest, we continue to test them against any that are placed within any system we have access to.”
A piece of paper with lab results lays atop the file. It gets picked up and placed on the table.
