    But just as he reached for his long-sleeved sweater, something out of the corner of his eye caught his attention. On his outstretched arm, long black tendrils began at his shoulder and ran down the back of his arm and bicep, tapering off at his elbow. The shadowy lines snaked over his skin without pattern, dark enough to absorb any light that hit them.

    “No, no… no.” Bob whispered as he trailed over the lines with his fingers, holding false hope that he was just having sleep deprivation-induced hallucinations. Of course, he's never been a lucky person.

    Or, Bob hasn't been able to sleep since his memories of the Void have started to come back. He has to gripe with the consequences, and attempts to do it alone, fearing the team would view him as an unhelpful, unstable mess. It doesn't go well.
