Summary
Simon Ghost Riley, the very picture of the word 'alpha', tall and broad, toned muscles lining every inch of his body, a deep voice smothered in a thick manchester accent that sends tingles down to Soap's toes, deserves someone who can match his dynamic, something better than a common beta.
Soap likes Ghost and thus he will not let himself fall for his fake expectations, for his wide eyed naivete of having a life with said man.
Or
Soap struggles with finding his happy ending whilst simultaneously being in love with a man who (probably) doesn't love him back.

Upon arriving home from Chicago after eliminating Hassan, Soap discovers the medbay is out of heat packs for the ribs bruised by Hassan's bullets. Ghost very considerately volunteers to do wake-up checks for his concussion and keep him warm through the night.
