Yoo Sangah opens her mouth, only to clamp it shut again when her wife glares at her amidst the smoke.
“Nobody tell him,” says Han Sooyoung. “Nobody tell him and that’s the joke.”
[OR: Kim Dokja finds himself in a magical new land after dying only to realize he's just as chained to capitalism now as he was before being put in a metaphorical shirt. A chance meeting with the hottest shop keeper he's ever laid his eyes on may change things for the better - or it just may make his life more complicated than it already is.

Kim Dokja reasonably took Yoo Joonghyuk’s clinginess towards him during his rut as the regressor’s biological instincts to seek comfort during an alpha’s rut (being clingy) and chronic trust issues (being clingy to him of all people). He genuinely could not comprehend what it was about his bland beta self that Joonghyuk prefers over, say, Lee Seolhwa’s refreshing apple mint scent—especially when he considers that they were once mates.
His first attempt to make sense of the mystery fell short as the glare the alpha shot him in response to the question was so scathing he thus learned to never bring it up again.
