Summary
Despite everything that had happened on the stage after defeating Gwi-Ma, the adrenaline leaving her system leaves Rumi with conflicting emotions regarding her own body. On instinct, she wants to immediately cover everything back up, to hide the nightmare as she had been taught. But she isn't alone now, not with her secret out. She just has to be willing to open the door.

"Kit, I get it. Everyone's afraid of being vulnerable. But I don't want you to be scared. I trust you, okay?" Jentry reassures him.
The two are now inches away from each other, and Jentry is taking the opportunity to admire every single part of his face. She wants so badly to kiss him right now, but continues to wait for the right moment. She's basically been waiting all day for this opportunity, anyway. Maybe she should wait for Kit to initiate.
"Okay, but," Kit looks back at her. "Please just... don't be afraid. Or angry."
Afraid? Angry? What is he talking about? Could his secret be that bad? Jentry considers if maybe she's already missed her chance to make her move, but she shoves that thought down and nods slowly.
Kit reluctantly continues. "I'm not who you think I am. I-I'm not... I'm not a human."
"What?"
(The ending of episode 5 if Jentry didn't kiss Kit and allowed him to reveal the truth.)

“Rumi,” Zoey’s voice is impossibly soft, “why wouldn’t I tell you that you’re good?”
Rumi shrugs, feeling raw and exposed in the way she always does after kneeling for them.
She considers the question: she just wasn’t brought up that way. There was never any need for praise or affirmation as a form of encouragement. Not when there were other forms so readily available – imminent choking forms, creeping steadily across her body.
