Aaliyah pronounced, as if tasting it on her mouth. There was this - this specific way she said it, specific way she wrapped her tongue around the letters and let her voice fold down the word. And Cruz knew she was fucking screwed because she never liked that name as much as she did now, coming from the other woman’s lips.
