“How long you been awake?” Pearl’s voice is rough, her hand slipping under Marina’s shirt to tease her belly.
“Mm,” Marina mumbles, her own voice hoarse from sleep. “Not sure. Not long?”
“That’s good.” Pearl hums, somewhat sleepy. “What’s today look like?”
“Hopefully… nothing,” Marina replies with a grin.
“Same here,” Pearl says, resuming her gentle kisses. Marina wants to see her pretty face so badly, but the soft kisses on her back keep her from moving. Her tentacles curl happily, giving Pearl space to scoot up and start pressing kisses to Marina’s neck.Bookmarked by NighttimePhilosopher

“Alright, that was pretty bad.” She feels more than she sees Pearl leaning closer, voice lowered to a Pearl approximation of a whisper. “I was just tryin’ to say I’m happy for you both. It ain’t easy doing it in public, but–”
“Excuse me!?” Shiver’s shriek is quiet but piercing; the other idol flinches back.
“Uh–”
“Doing it in public, what is that supposed to mean you little gremlin!?”
“Dating!” Pearl corrects, slinging an arm over the back of Shiver’s chair, close enough to breathe each other’s air. Shiver’s tentacle starts to curl. She grinds her teeth until the pain makes it hang limp.
Big Man and Marina look over – they get identical reassuring waves in response even as Pearl continues, “I meant dating. My bad, yo.”
It takes a moment for that to process. When it does, Shiver goes cold.
“Frye and I are not dating.”
Pearl winks.
“Right, neither are Marina and I.”
