Summary
The Lone wanderer, a young girl named Nico, has brought her parents’ dream of clean, drinkable water to the wasteland. She completed this task almost at the cost of her own life. With help from the brotherhood of steel, she defeated the main HQ of the enclave. Now she has set out with her faithful companion Dogmeat to help those in need throughout the wasteland. Little did she know that her mission would return her to Vault 101 and those who exiled her. Story takes place through Amata's Perspective for the most part.

Summary
Slender fingers find her own in her mindless grazing over Caitlyn’s skin. They trail over the top of Vi’s hand, her touch pointed and gentle where Vi’s skin is split open.
“We should–” Caitlyn clears her throat, the sound almost shy. She’s holding Vi’s hand now, thumb taking inventory of Vi’s self-inflicted wounds. “We should take a look at your hands.”
The suggestion is so soft. So tentative. And in some less hazy part of Vi’s brain, she knows Cait’s right.
It isn’t even a thought when her arms wrap around Caitlyn’s waist, pulling them even more flush together. She buries her face in the crook of Caitlyn’s neck, shamelessly breathing her in before murmuring, her voice a cracked and low hum, “Later, Cupcake. Let me have this first.”
Because there was a moment– several moments, all of them scattered in broken glass bottles on an apartment floor she never wants to see again– where she never thought she’d get to have this.

Vi turned towards the kitchen door and waited for Caitlyn’s slender frame to appear. As soon as she did, Vi’s breath hitched, but not because of Caitlyn’s flawless beauty. This time it was because of her condition. She was even paler than usual, her straight posture broken by a lowered head and hunched shoulders. Her dark hair was disheveled, and her visible eye was red and puffy. Caitlyn had been crying.
In an instant, Vi was holding her. Caitlyn collapsed into the hug and hid her face on Vi’s shoulder.
“Hey.” Caitlyn’s voice was thin as paper.
“Hey, Cupcake. What happened?”, Vi asked, softly stroking her back.
“Nothing important,” she mumbled. “Just… tired.”
