It was bad enough that Sans could remember the resets, but the kid had been doing nonstop genocides for a while now. It didn't help that after their latest reset the tremors started. Folks swore the mountain was caving in, luckily there had been no casualties. Sans hoped that if Alphys found anything in her and Asgore's investigation of the unusual tremors she would come to him
On a whim, he decided to check his timeline reader. Maybe the anomaly did something? What he saw shocked him: The resets had stopped (for now). He almost celebrated when he looked further ahead and his heart dropped; there were more resets and timelines than ever before. When he next saw the kid he was going to give them a bad time
Months later, Tori asked him to make a promise that he would protect any human that walked out the ruin door. Finally. The kid must have reset about 100 times just in the ruins alone.
The next day, Sans shortcut in the woods to wait for Frisk's arrival.
The door opened and a short figure walked out. Before Sans could "greet" the human, he caught sight of pink hair.
That wasn't Frisk. What the fuck?

In Deltarune's world, Chara and Frisk both run away from their 'homes' the same night. Unbeknownst from each other, they still arrive at the same little town.
Wounded, Chara has to be taken in. With nowhere else to go, Frisk is sent with them to stay with Toriel for the time being.
Kris is not too happy about this, especially since soon, everything will be set into motion. Two human kids, one acting out and the other curious to a concerning extent, will only make it harder for them. At least it can't get even more complicated.
...why is there a third one and why are they here ?? To... 'find the missing kid' ?
