jeongguk looks at him like he’s meant to have some answer for that. but yoongi can only stare at jeongguk, replaying the words back in his head. and then, once the silence has stretched on long enough, yoongi begins laughing.
(or: yoongi wakes to find that his boyfriend has been switched with a version of himself from a parallel universe. he also finds that it’s impossible to not love jeongguk, no matter where or when he came from.)

Summary
Time’s a funny thing. People can keep on trying to take control of it, to manipulate it, to go back to change things. People in movies can keep on trying to fold a piece of paper and pierce a pen through to try to make sense of it, but no one can really grasp its concept. Time sits back and looks at everyone knowingly, laughing at the futile attempts to take control of it.
Or; Yoongi and Seokjin break up, and they don't realize the time in between that moment and this one.
