Life sucks.
Well- not really, but there is a reason why!
...Ok so there is not really an exact reason other than life is boring.
But! Tis, the truth! Being stuck behind a desk was not what Akatani Mikumo was planning to do with his life. He wanted to do so many things. Not run down files, or reread through his schedule for the day. No, he wanted to be some sort of hero, become famous, be well known! Be... less lonely...
But no. He had to pick out the poorest card of the deck. The one that gives him the need to just off himself no matter how successful the firm he works at is so far.
He's going to big things, and maybe have someone special travel with him!
Apparently, it is too much to ask Mikumo tells himself as he lies on the brink of death.
Ah, spoiler!
Before things get out of hand and things start trailing off, let me tell you the story of a simple, boring man who would later rule his own nation, who would unite Monsters and Humans into one.
This is the story of how Akatani Mikumo turned a new leaf and became Midoriya Izuku, the slime that would unite all and become one.

Max never really thought something like this would happen. One minute, he was a simple yet jaded ten year old standing in front of the Camp Campbell sign next to the most annoying Camp Counselor in (his opinion) the WORLD, David, waiting for the newest meat to arrive to one of the many places that Max knows as hell.
And well, the next minute, here he is with David at his side once more, except this time, not only is he his new foster dad, but he’s off and gone gay for a cult leader, who is pretty much one of his worst enemies. To put it frank, the first words he spoke as they drove off to David’s place was, ‘Well shit, this is happening I guess.’
Then suddenly five years later and boom. Here he is. Celebrating his fifteenth birthday with his two, like what Ered had once quoted, “Cool gay dads.” Just without the cool. And this time, with Daniel still being forced to stay in the U.S., he gets a job as a teacher alongside with David.
And just to put the cherry on top, friends of the past come back to his life closer than ever... literally not metaphorically. He's fucked... or at least he WAS fucked, until summer began, with his next adventure beginning.

Summary
For years, Petunia Dursley goes to a completely normal and above all prominent psychiatrist to talk about all the misfortunes that her life is full of. When her usual psychiatrist ends up in a car accident, the practice is temporarily taken over by a substitute psychiatrist from Baltimore.
In other words, what would happen if Harry accidentally came into contact with Dr. Hannibal Lecter as he waits for his aunt to finish her session? How will the traumatized teenager react to the formidable Hannibal after the death of his beloved godfather? More importantly, how will Hannibal react when he finds out he has something interesting thrown into his lap, far more interesting than his homicidal thoughts about the boring stay-at-home moms of Surrey?
(I have now written 4 chapters and will translate them as soon as possible from Dutch to put them online. For those who haven't read anything from me before: I'm Dutch and English is my second language. My work is guaranteed to contain errors, but I hope my storylines and ideas are enough to keep you reading!)

Summary
The Checkmate series is a canon-divergent Dream SMP AU in which Tommy never made it to Techno's house after escaping his exile, and is caught by Dream and dragged right back to Logstedshire. In this AU, Tommy is with Dream for a little over a year, with stricter rules and harsher punishments to keep him in line. Enduring Dream's abuse and manipulations for so long, Tommy finally breaks the way Dream wants him to; devoting himself well and truly to his former arch-nemesis, as they both fall for Dream's 'best friend' facade.
L'Manberg believes him to be dead. Ranboo, Puffy and Phil have been missing for a year. Technoblade and Ghostbur have set off in search of Phil. Everything is in shambles. Relationships have split apart; others have grown and flourished. With no other choice but to try to move on from their losses, most of the remaining citizens of L'Manberg are doing whatever they can to take control of their lives again, to find happiness. With Techno gone, L'Manberg is somehow more at peace than it had been in a long time, even with Dream looming over their heads - there's nothing to fear, so they think.
None of them are accounting for Tommy's return.

His first death was an awful one.
He remembers the inky blackness that took him under, like vines, digging into his soul. He remembers waking up in his bed and immediately vomiting over the edge. And he remembers, with startling clarity, the small yellow flowers mixed in with his stomach bile on the spruce floor of his barracks.
Tommy initially brushed it aside. Tubbo probably left some flowers on the ground from breeding his bees. It was nothing.
The shortness of his breath didn’t feel like nothing, but Tommy had gotten good at lying to himself. It was just from the respawn, nothing else.

Reading this had me researching the flower meanings and I like to think that the Marigolds were the first warning before things went to shit, cause while they mean guilt, jealousy and despair, they also mean hope, joy, strength, and good luck, they are also a hint that Tommy was fucked anyways cause they’re also the flower of the dead :,D
