Ellen Joe likes her job. While she isn't entirely sure what it is they do, she likes that they pay her, the coworkers are nice, and her boss doesn't overload her with a lot of work. But recently, when the night ends and her boss is staying late, she wonders if tonight will be the night she musters up the courage to ask her boss out.
Lycaon is good at his job. He likes his employees enough to not put them through routine pizza parties, and after a string of non-starters, his newest assistant seems to actually be capable. She stays late to make sure things get done, but always stops by his office to check if there is anything else he needs help with. He doesn't see the way she looks at him.
