Summary
Devin "Dev" Dimmadome comes from a rich family that gives him everything he could ever want. Almost. His godparent, Peri, can only do so much for the kid. Maybe he'll need someone else to help him fill those shiny white boots.
This is a partial AU. If a godkid is threatened with earthly violence, a fairy can reveal themselves to protect that child. However, this could leave lasting trauma - as a fairy in their angel form, can be a little intimidating.

Only a fairy with much larger than average magical power can have a human adult sized form and keep their wings visible at the same time, jorgen for example. Though this larger form may not show until the fairy finds their full potential.
or: an AU where Peri misses dev, so he disguises himself so he could stay with the kid.
