    Summary

    Mermaids AU: Ever heard of H2O: Just Add Water? At least one of the characters is a mermaid! We’re talking about the fish-tailed kind, not just a Troll becoming a sea dweller. Can be inspired by the Little Mermaid or not.
    Per communication with the prompt author, a mermaid is:
    • Half human half aquatic animals
    • Selkies count but only if one half [is humanoid] and one half of the body is a seal
    • If the being turns fully into an animal thats NOT mermaid*
    • I didn't specify which half to allow fun
    • Being able to transform into fully a human doesnt count as “turning fully into an animal”. Thats already part of the mermaid mythos and thus acceptable

    Summary

    A verse that explores the effect of the retcon and extrapolates further. What was the three year meteor journey like? What happens when Vriska’s “sole reason for being saved” is over?
    This verse does not take the homestuck epilogues into account- instead, Vriska ends up meeting everyone at the door and going through with them. She, ever the catalyst, decides they need to supervise the creation of the first city, not fast forward through it. The fics are loosely compliant with each other.
