In order to complete the Full Moon Ritual, Stolas must channel the power of starlight to allow him glimpses into the future. Utilizing his connection to the stars is a delicate and potentially dangerous process, which is why Stolas must close that connection at the end of each ritual using a special crystal. So when the ritual goes wrong, and Stolas can't close the link, it becomes a race against time for Blitz, Octavia, and the rest of I.M.P. to find another way to do so before Stolas is lost to the starlight forever.
