An Excerpt:
Rolan was at a point where he wanted the ground to swallow him and send him back to Avernus. He was only glad that Cal and Lia hadn’t spotted them yet. “My hair, I meant.” He kept his long hair swept back in a bun that sat beneath his horns.
She stopped laughing and reached out to touch the bun, her fingers light. She tucked a loose strand of his silky hair behind his pointed ears, a little smile turning up her lips.
He fought down a shiver of delight at her touch. Rolan decided it was time to take back a little control of this situation. “That’s all you get for now. I’ll take mine down when you take yours down,” he told her.
“A little ‘I’ll show you mine if you show me yours’?” Tav asked. “Maybe soon, but not just yet. We have to build up to it, wouldn’t you agree?”Bookmarked by KhaoticMinds
