“Hi-Hinata…”
The spark of awareness ignites and Shouyou blinks his eyes open again fully, humming in response to his name. Kageyama doesn’t reply, as he’s still completely asleep, shuffling slightly as his breaths start to catch in the beginnings of snores.
“Kageyama?” Shouyou stage whispers.
“Hinata,” Kageyama grunts back, before smacking his lips and devolving fully into snoring.

Hinata flushed red and he scowled, scrambling for the dagger beside him as he got off the ground. "W-what do you think I'm doing?! Asshole, don't you know that I was in the middle of sacrificing myself for a–"
But then, he saw it. Black horns, pointed ears, and a tail flickering back and forth.
“– f-for a... hot demon guy…” He finished lamely, stuttering on a choke.
...
Hinata thought he might have to kill himself to summon a demon. Turns out, there isn't any need for it.

That’s always how it was with Hinata. Kageyama couldn’t stay mad at him for any one thing longer than ten minutes, because that was apparently the maximum amount of time it took before Hinata’s brain would reset and move on to something else, dragging Kageyama along with him. He felt like he was getting whiplash.
((kageyama hates hinata, hinata likes teasing kageyama, they both secretly love fighting each other and they're both idiots. wip, on hiatus sorry :( ))
