Summary
They were neither the first nor the last famous people who were ever going to be shipped together by the fans and Julie was just going with it because there wasn’t much else she could do. At least Luke was cool about it too.
We should do an Instagram live together or something
People will assume we’re married
I’ll make sure to buy a ring first
Julie was doing just fine.
or, 5 times Julie and Luke definitely did not write songs about each other plus one time they definitely did

Summary
Looking back, Julie doesn’t really know how it happened.
She remembers feeling lost for so long. Nothing to look forward to. Nothing to celebrate. Her world seemed empty after her mother left it.
But then again, she also remembers Flynn laying with her on her bed, on some social music site. And when the tacky words Sign Up Here! pop up, Julie takes one look at the mischievous expression on her friend’s face and knows that a decision is about to be made. A horrible one, one that doesn't have to be made at all, but a decision nonetheless.
-
Julie hasn't played music since her mother died. It's not that she doesn't want to, but she can't talk to anyone without receiving that pity eye in return. When her best friend decides to sign her up on a sketchy online music site, Julie doesn't think much of it. She never thought she'd meet someone helpful or understanding on there, but friends can be found in the most unlikely of places. Right?

Summary
AU/Future-fic.
Luke Patterson doesn’t have many regrets. “But then again,” he says, “I’m a little full of shit.”
It's 2038, and Julie and the Phantoms are set to play at their official induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Except Luke and Julie haven't spoken to each other since the Phantoms broke up, and everyone's a little haunted. (Or the bandmates exes saga that nobody needed.)

Summary
When Julie landed her position as a songwriter at the Hollywood Ghost Club, her boss offered to pull some strings to get her a discounted apartment nearby. He talked about the place’s excellent acoustics and how a bunch of his most talented souls enjoyed the atmosphere.
Unfortunately, he did not mention the drafty windows.
Or the faulty wiring.
Or the ghost chilling in her fridge.
His name is Luke, and her apartment used to be his before he died.

Summary
His voice is rough and paired with an acoustic guitar. It’s low, but clear, a voice she’d know anywhere. Luke. And it sounds like...like he’s right there with her.
Bad Reputation. It's a song they both love. Shawn Mendes is a killer song writer. Not as good as Luke, but still...good. Luke messed with the arrangement on the guitar though and it’s so much better, the way he keeps his voice throaty and warm.
It sends a silky sort of heat through her, lacing slowly through her veins, her heart rate ticking up with every note he hits. It’s not like she’s never heard him sing before, but somehow that’s what it feels like, his voice carrying through his room into hers. Her eyes drift closed again and she lets the sound of his voice wash over her and she can picture his eyes, back on the bus, and that expression that she’d never seen before. And then he slides into the chorus and her entire body jerks in response, every nerve ending prickling to awareness, the warmth of his voice settling deep and low inside of her.
