Dick’s goal for Thanksgiving (code named Operation F.I.S.H.): A family outing to the aquarium.
It feels achievable - everyone has been getting along better lately, Jason is spiraling closer, Cass is coming home. But there is a lot of unspoken hurt in every direction, and Dick’s own position in the family is shakier than ever since Bruce returned.
If Dick wants to realize his dream of family bonding, there will have to be many painful conversations between all parties. Dick’s own secrets will need to surface, the ones he has long kept submerged, the ones he will fight to sink forever.

That didn't mean he was necessarily expecting to find Dick Grayson half-dead in an interrogation cell in the middle of his infiltration of a league of shadow assassins. Or for his simple reconnaissance assignment to turn into a rescue mission for the highest profile kidnapping since Tony Stark. And assuming he could even get the kid away from Deathstroke, trouble was sure to follow. After all, S.H.I.E.L.D. was full of people with their own agenda who'd love an asset like Renegade.

Luffy wouldn't give up, but it's difficult when the very symbol of freedom doesn't seem to exist at all.
