"He understands how eating disorders work. He understands that if he lets this get out of hand, it's only counterproductive and once he gets to whatever sick "ideal weight" he wants and starts to eat again, his body will hold onto the food in an attempt to survive and he'll gain it all back. And if that isn't the case, he could die. Eating is, after all, one of the fundamental parts to living.
And yet, he stills skips out on breakfast. Everyday since he was ten. In an original attempt to save time, it's turned into a necessity if he wants to get through the day without wanting to tear out his own skin."
