The edges of Noli’s comedy mask remained in a frown. He attempts to squeeze Coolkid a little tighter, the side hug becoming protective,
“Oh Coolkid.. You don’t need to do all of that,” he starts out slowly.
The child sniffed, subconsciously leaning closer into Noli’s shoulder when he spoke, “But I do! What if dad gets bored of me?” his eyes crinkled.
In Short: Noli gets notified that Coolkid did something reckless and was sent to be hospitalized. They have a long talk about who they miss and what their goal will be moving forward after their escape from the Forsaken Realm.

The rink is dead when he appears inside. He feels the idle fire thrumming under his skin, licking at his veins and evaporating the sweat still drying. It’s an itch he’s used to, shooting awake from a nightmare only to leave whatever residence he’s staying in and spend an hour forcing his nerves into the manicured ice of a skating rink. Tonight he thinks he will race himself. To hell with figure skating and theatrics and artistry. Seven is an athlete, Seven is a rollerblader, and the roar of ice blades under speeds he produces is the only balm to his wounds.
When he enters the stadium, however, he discovers he is not alone.
Or: Seven aims to burn his nerves away through speed skating. Instead, he discovers a familiar someone already on the ice.
