Tim often wondered when he would die in the field. There had never been a doubt that he would, it was just the fact.
Sometimes he wondered if it would be at the hands of Batman himself, but he always pushed those thoughts away as soon as they came up.
No, he would most likely die in a moment like this.
Needing back up and realizing he was alone in this.
Like always, right?
“Seems like you’re losing, Replacement,” a distorted voice said from behind him
or;
When Jason Todd and Tim Drake were kidnapped by the Joker, Jason died. Later, he comes back to life, but he thinks Tim died in the kidnapping too. Little does he know that the "replacement" he's set on killing is his long-lost best friend. And his best friend seems to have a strange talent in finding abusive adults to be around.

Tim was used to being on his own. That’s why it wasn’t until he was alone in his room in the early hours of the morning doing research (he couldn’t sleep) that he noticed something was amiss.
He went to mutter a curse under his breath, and his lips wouldn’t open.
In other words, Tim gets cursed to remain silent. No one notices.

Summary
Platonic A/B/O Batbrothers series, with most works heavily centering Tim Drake. In my universe, Dick is an alpha, Jason an omega, Tim a newly presented omega, and Damian is unpresented, though I have plans to have him present as an alpha. Bruce and Alfred, who both feature in these stories as well as round out the Wayne pack, are an alpha and a beta, respectively.
I do read the comics, but these fics may be considered by some to be OOC due to the nature of how heavily a secondary gender would affect character development.
