Like recognized like. Andrew just hadn’t expected something as dark as himself to appear as a glimmer in a priest’s canines. “And, you know,” he spoke much more casually now, the unnatural formality of his voice dropped entirely, “everyone’s at a different place in their relationship with God but you look like you’re at the beginning.”
“Let’s just say I’ve believed in your so-called devil a lot longer than I’ve believed in your God,” Andrew shot back, not caring for pretenses. Nicky scrubbed an exasperated hand down his face.

Andrew goes to church to glare daggers at Luther and stays for the hot priest with a mysterious past.

Summary
Punching your roommate is not a very smart idea. Starting a friends with benefits relationship with said roommate is an even worse one. Setting up a string of rules to keep it purely physical and make sure you don’t catch feeling but catching them anyways is certainly the stupidest thing you could do in that situation.
Luckily for Neil, he never claimed to be smart.

Summary
Neil sees Kevin Day everyday at the train station, but Kevin Day never recognizes Neil.
When Kevin finally does notice Neil, he also immediately falls on the train tracks and succumbs to a coma of indeterminate length.
Then all of Kevin’s friends and family assume Neil is dating Kevin, and Neil doesn’t know how to tell them he hasn’t spoken to Kevin—or anybody at all, really—for almost seven years.
So Neil lets the Foxes think he’s dating Kevin. Just for a little while. Just until Kevin wakes up.
