Summary
Expecting his day to be full of simply staring at his ceiling and doing nothing all day long, Haruka, and he would deny vehemently if asked, let out a shriek at the sudden notification that signaled a new message.
Just for a second, he thought his short, pathetic life was finally over, done and dusted.
Picking his phone up from where he had thrown it carelessly earlier, Haruka expected it to be a text from either Nirei or Suo, or even someone in the class group chat.
What he didn’t expect, though, was a text from an unknown number. Hearing the alarms blaring erratically loudly in his head, he sat up and clicked on the unknown number.
Now, Haruka wasn’t sure what or who he was expecting, but he sure as hell wasn’t expecting it to be his one and only dear aunt.
In which Haruka gets a text from his aunt.

With a soft sigh, Sakura turns his head to the side and picks absentmindedly at a thread on his comforter. The emptiness within him fluctuates by the minute, yawning and closing its mouth inside his chest. There’s still the possibility that he scraps the date entirely; but it’ll just carousel in a never-ending cycle, he’s certain of it.

Sakura discovers he may have nothing left to live for once he graduates college. He also discovers that saying "goodbye" feels utterly devastating.
