Summary
Harry died on his 21st birthday. It wasn’t planned that way. There was nothing particularly magical about it. In fact, Hermione had suggested they delay their return to Hogwarts a day so they could celebrate his birthday properly.
He declined. “Birthdays aren’t important, Hermione.” He’d said, completely unbothered that after tonight, he might not have any more birthdays to celebrate. It was a matter she could have debated, but it wasn't worth the effort.
Harry had stopped celebrating his birthday the moment he came of age. She suspected it was because Ron died less than a year later, and he couldn’t bring himself to blow out candles or exchange silly gifts without his best mate by his side.
Now, after nearly six years of being a prisoner to her broken memories, Hermione understands the grief all too well. So when an unexpected visitor arrives from the future swearing that Harry isn’t dead, Hermione joins the covert mission to bring him back. There’s only one problem. In order to save Harry, she must put her trust in Draco Malfoy.
