Summary
Time seems to stand still on Keith’s quiet little beach. Far from civilization, in an old cabin filled with memories, he often feels like he’s living in a bubble. A peaceful bubble, but a solitary one. While he can’t imagine living anywhere else— far too drawn to the magic of the ocean and the beauty in silence— he sometimes wishes that his home was a little less cold and a little less lonely.
Those wishes come true the day he rescues an injured sea lion on the beach. It just takes him a while to figure it out.

Allura gnawed on her lip anxiously. She and Coran also showed signs of fatigue, dark bags resting under their eyes. “I’m afraid that last planet we were on made us all ill.”
Shiro forced himself to stand up, despite his exhaustion. “How serious is it? Can we use the healing pods?”
“Afraid not. The healing pods are designed for wound based injuries, but this illness attacks the mind and subconscious. We’ll have to simply wait it out.” Coran explained grimly.
“Well, I mean we’re all tired but that’s not so bad.” Lance tried to reason with a light shrug.
Allura winced. “It’s not as simple as that, Lance. This illness, it…it takes the dark parts of ourselves, and infects us with them like a virus.”
“Usually the symptoms are based around negative traits, such as laziness, or selfishness, or jealousy,” Coran listened off loosely.
Pidge snapped to attention. “Hold on. Are you saying we’ve been infected with the seven deadly sins?”
OR: After visiting another planet, the paladins (and Coran and Allura) pick up an illness that makes them all take on the personality of their strongest deadly sin. Nobody has a good time.
